Jacob Rock Goodman is the founding attorney of Rock Law Firm, and yes, the “Rock” is his middle name. Jacob has been licensed since 2011 and focuses his practice exclusively on bankruptcy, helping individuals and families across Arizona get relief from overwhelming debt and a fresh financial start. He is admitted to practice in Arizona state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and he regularly represents clients in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.
Jacob started Rock Law Firm right out of law school, and his career has taken him through several areas of law. That includes a few years at a large firm collecting debts for major credit card companies. That experience showed him how creditors think, what they look for, and how they operate. Today he uses that insider knowledge for the people on the other side of the table.
Jacob chose bankruptcy law because he loves helping people. Many clients first come to him feeling stressed, embarrassed, and unsure where to turn. For Jacob, the most rewarding part of the job is guiding someone through the process and watching that weight lift off their shoulders. That’s why Rock Law Firm is proud to be the “nice guy” law firm. The firm takes the time to explain every step, answer every question, and do plenty of hand-holding, so no client ever has to feel alone.
Jacob earned his B.A. in English Literature, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University and his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. He was born in Phoenix and spent much of his childhood in Utah, but he has lived in Arizona longer than anywhere else and is proud to call it home.
